The Bush Magik Australian plant range was developed by Ian Shimmen and Peter Goldup. Peter has been growing Australian plants for over 40 years and together with Ian has selected varieties that are tough, require low water and are attractive.

Bush Magik seeks to represent native plant breeders and nurseries in a range of media such as web, television and publications in a creative and modern way. By careful marketing and licensing, plants can be matched to the best growers and licensees in Australia.

Plants are offered according to growers and licensee's product range and are met with successful cultivation and breeding. Bush Magik highly regards and hence invests a great deal in the individual needs of each customer and works with growers' ideal for the plant species to expand market exposure.

After initial market launch of the product, Bush Magik then extends its services to involve more developed licensing schemes that still allows for the products value to appreciate.

Acacia "Mini Cog" and Lomandra "Lime Tuff" were released and exhibited at the Melbourne International Flower and Garden Show (MIFGS) in 2008 and have been selling successfully to both landscapers and the retail sector in Victoria, NSW, ACT and South Australia. In 2009 at MIFGS we exhibited new releases Tristaniopsis "Winter Red" and Chrysocephalum "Silver Sunburst".
