Correa decumbens x reflexa
Rolly Polly PBR pending
Rolly Polly is a selected form of Correa that is naturally compact in habit, making it a very desirable plant to use where little maintenance is required. This small hardy shrub is shy to flower and produces long soft pink lantern shaped flowers hidden in foliage during autumn to spring. Rolly Polly makes an excellent border or hedging plant with lovely small glossy leaves.
POSITION: Grows well in both shade and full sun. It is adaptable to most well drained soils. This plant is suitable for temperate climates to coastal areas, and once this plant is established Rolly Polly will tolerate dry conditions.

CARE: This small compact shrub requires little maintenance other than a tip prune to promote a more compact plant. It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser to help establish the plant. It is beneficial to follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
USES: Rolly Polly is excellent for use as a garden border, rockery plant, specimen pot plant, or as a low level hedging plant, which is quick to establish for small gardens to large landscapes.
