CONDITIONS: Soil pH: 4.5 to 7.0

CARE: This hardy small shrub requires little maintenance other than a tip prune to promote a more compact plant. It is best to initially feed with a slow release low phosphorus fertiliser to help establish the plant. It is beneficial to follow up with the occasional reapplication of fertiliser and apply as required. Mulching around the base of the plant will help retain moisture and suppress weeds.
USES: Deep Purple is excellent for use as a garden border, rockery plant, specimen pot plant or as low level planting for gardens and large scale landscapes.
